FOR AMUSEMENT ONLY – Derby Bill’s FCS Special

William “Derby Bill” Watson is going to pretend the Football Championship Subdivision quarterfinals are the NFL.  Why? Because Derby Bill has a six-game winning streak in his weekly NFL selection (for amusement only).   If he’s as good with FCS picks as he is with the NFL, well, it will be a fine weekend.

The Salukis were national champs in 1983. SIU is 41-5 at home since 2003 but have been beaten last two  years in playoffs by CAA teams.

The Big Sky had three  teams make the playoffs but only top seed Montana made it out of the first round ,scoring 40 unanswered last week in last 20:25.

Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Villanova Stadium

Line: Villanova -11  [50.5]

In the earlier meeting of the Wildcats, New Hampshire won 28-24 at home with a 368-352 yard edge and won`t be overlooked.

Both perennial powerhouse teams won despite turnovers last week Richmond puts it all together in a flurry.
