Hokies’ Evans out for season with knee injury

Bad news for the Virginia Tech football team just came into the inbox.  Darren Evans, the Hokies’ sophomore tailback, will miss the 2009 season after suffering a severe knee injury in practice today.  Evans tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
